A few varieties of homemade chili will be served from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Crothersville-Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department, 200 Moore St., Crothersville.

After 9 p.m., chili will be available for pickup only. Hot dogs also will be available. The cost is a freewill donation.

Firefighters also will be handing out candy from 6 to 9 p.m., which is during the town’s residential trick-or-treating.
