The Brownstown Central Community School Corp. board of school trustees will have a special meeting at 7:3o p.m. Monday at the administration office, 608 W. Commerce St., Brownstown.

The purpose of the meeting, open to the public and press, is for trustees to discuss and receive public comment for the 2021-21 tentative agreement of the teachers contract between the board and the Brownstown Central Classroom Teachers Association.

At 6:30 p.m. that day, there will be an executive session to receive information about prospective employees, discuss individuals over whom the governing body has jurisdiction and discuss the assessment, design and implementation of school safety and security measures, plans and systems. That’s closed to the public and press.
