Mrs. Bess “Joan” Furnish, of Seymour, IN, passed away October 24, 2021.

Mrs. Furnish was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 9, 1928, the daughter of Hugh E. and Rita (Royce) Stull.

On December 25,1959, she married Stanley Eugene Furnish. He preceded her in death.

Joan was a member of First Marion Baptist Church. She retired from Western Electric after 20 years of service.

Bess is survived by her niece, Kathy Haggard and nephew, Doug Haggard who cared for her, many loving nieces and nephews, as well as step great grandchildren, Michael, Shawn, Zachary, Ashley, Amanda, Amber, and Marshall.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother; Robert Stull, sisters; Mary Stull, Virginia Long, Rowena Stafford, Patty Alexander, and brother; Royce Stull.

Services will be held at Voss & Sons on Wednesday 7:00. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 on Wednesday.

Private burial will take place at Washington Park East Mausoleum, Indianapolis, IN.
