BROWNSTOWN

Delorice Fay Dodd Nantz Perry, age 83, of Brownstown, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2021.

Mrs. Perry was a member of Brownstown Church of Christ. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Born on November 13, 1937, in Marion County, Alabama, she was the daughter of Noah and Leola (Tittle) Dodd, both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Sonny (Karen) Nantz; one stepson, Kenny Lee (Romy) Perry; two stepdaughters: Brenda Brummett and Mary Hodge; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.

Delorice was preceded in death by her parents; late husband, James Nantz; daughter, Dellia Nantz; son, Olen Nantz; late husband, Kenny Perry; sisters and brothers.

Funeral services for Delorice Fay Dodd Nantz Perry will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.

Arrangements are being entrusted to the caring staff at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
