The filing period for Free Application for Federal Student Aid also known as FAFSA for the 2022-2023 school year opened Friday.
The deadline to submit the application is on Apr. 15, 2022.
The application is required to be considered for many of Indiana’s scholarships and grants.
The FAFSA can be completed online by visiting FAFSA.gov. Students will need the following:
- Social Security number
- Alien Registration number (for non-U.S. citizens)
- Federal income tax returns, W-2s and other records of money earned from 2020
- Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
- Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
