Annual Paris Crossing Alumni Association banquet set for Sept. 10

The 49th annual Paris Crossing Alumni Association banquet will be Sept. 10 at The Pines Evergreen Room, 4829 N. U.S. 31, Seymour.

Anyone who attended any of the three Jennings County schools from Paris Crossing, Lovett and Marion may attend. The social hour will start at 4 p.m. with dinner at 5 p.m. and the program at 6 p.m.

The classes to be honored are 1945, 1950, 1955 and 1960 from the 2020 meeting canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic and classes 1946, 1951, 1956 and 1961 from the 2021 meeting. The alumnus traveling the greatest distance and the oldest alumnus present will be recognized.

A memorial program will be held in honor of those alumni who have died in the past year.

A presentation of the new website will be made. Louise Malcomb will demonstrate the current content and access capability of the website.

Three scholarship recipients for 2021 will be recognized.

A silent auction will be held. Collectibles, crafts, antiques and food items are being sought.

All alumni and spouse and/or guest will pay $25 each, which includes the dues, social hour and dinner. You may send your reservation fee by Sept. 1 to Paris Crossing Alumni Association in care for Treasurer Mary Lou Nugent, 5150 N. King St., North Vernon, IN 47265. Make checks payable to Paris Crossing Alumni Association. Those unable to attend may still make a donation.
