The 19th annual Seymour Evening Lions Club Golf Scramble will be Aug. 28 at Shadowood Golf Course, 333 N. Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour.

Registration is from 11 to 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The entry fee for a four-person team is $200 or $50 per person.

The entry deadline to register teams is 6 p.m. Aug. 26.

There will be a lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and door prizes will be presented. There are no additional green fees or cart rental fees. A putting contest is part of the event for a $5 entry fee. Each contestant will be allowed two putts. The winner will receive 50% of the total purse.

Mulligans may be purchased at registration for $5 each with a limit of two per player. Mulligans will be free with the donation of used eyeglasses with a limit of two per player.

Proceeds from this event support Lions Club projects in Seymour and across the nation.
