Jackson County United Way will have a Rock’n Ready back to school bash from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 5 in the gymnasium at Medora Community Schools, 82 S. George St., Medora.

All students who will be attending Medora Community Schools for the 2021-22 school year are invited to attend.

They will receive free school supplies, haircuts, personal hygiene items, clothing (The Hornets Nest will have special hours for students), community resources, shoes and more.

Students also will be able to meet their teachers.

The first day of school for students is Aug. 10.
