North Vernon police continue to look for a motorist involved in a wreck Friday evening that left two people on a motorcycle injured.
The search started when officers were called to the 400 block of West Walnut Street at about 5 p.m. for a personal injury wreck involving a motorcycle carrying two people.
The passenger on the motorcycle, a juvenile, was rushed to the hospital to be treated for serious injuries, according to a news release from the North Vernon Police Department. The driver also was taken to the hospital and was treated for moderate injuries, police said.
Police said the investigation is on-going but it is believed the driver of the motorcycle had to react to another motor vehicle that was driven in front of the motorcycle’s path.
Anyone information about the wreck is being asked to call the department at 812-346-2345 or 812-346-1466.
