The inaugural Dolly Dash 5K Run/Walk and 1K Dog Walk is at 9 a.m. Saturday at Harmony Park, 753 W. Second St., Seymour.

Check-in starts at 8 a.m. The run/walk is open to people of all ages, and the 1-mile walk is for families and their dogs.

The cost for the 5K is $25 for adults or $5 for kids, and the cost for the dog walk is $10. Register online at raceentry.com/races/dolly-dash/2021/register.

There will be prizes, raffles, costume contests for people (dress up like Dolly Parton) and dogs and the Mighty Mini Donuts food truck. The first 80 race participants who check in or register on race day will receive a swag bag, and 5K finishers will receive medals.

Proceeds will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Jackson County and READ Jackson County.
