Build a stuffed alligator during library workshop

The Jackson County Public Library offers a free Noah’s Ark animal workshop for children ages 2 to 12.

Participants will build a stuffed alligator friend to take home. Each participant also will receive a copy of "Alligators and Crocodiles" by Laura Marsh. Registration is required, and space is limited in these programs sponsored by Friends of the Jackson County Public Library.

Times and locations for the workshops are:

  • 2 and 3:30 p.m. July 14 at Bard Street Park in Crothersville. Registration and pickup starts July 7. Limit 15 each session.
  • 3 p.m. July 15 outside the Medora Library. Registration and pickup begin July 8. Limit 15.
  • 10:30 a.m. July 15 on Facebook Live (MyJCLibrary). Registration and pickup begin July 9 at the Seymour Library. Limit 85.
