William “Bill” C. Moberly, 84, of Crothersville, IN, passed away at 5:05 PM on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the Lutheran Community Home. Bill was born on Saturday, March 27, 1937, in Richmond, KY. He was the son of Elmer Moberly and Margaret (Goucher) Queen who are both deceased. Bill was a 1957 Austin High School graduate. He retired from Nickels Body Repair where he was a painter and autobody repairman. On July 22, 1966, in Columbus, IN, Bill married Bonnie (Sparrow) Moberly who passed away on January 28, 2014. Bill enjoyed gardening, landscaping, working around the house, outside, and on cars. Survivors include 2 daughters, Susan (Robert) Halstead of Columbus, IN and Anna Moberly of Crothersville, IN, 3 sons, Greg (Gwinna) Lanning of Columbus, IN, Tim (Cathy) Lanning of Crothersville, IN, and Brian (Cindy) Lanning of Seymour, IN, several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Eversole, a son Carl Moberly, 1 brother, Robert Moberly and 1 sister, Martha Colwell. Rev. David Schill will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service starting at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville.
