SCOTTSBURG, INDIANA
Marilyn Sue Baker, 76, of Scottsburg, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She was born in Salem Indiana, the daughter of Herman L. Miller, Sr & Mabel (Wingler) Miller. She met Rudy Baker in Seymour and on June 7, 1963, they were married. They were married 58 years prior to his death in May of 2020.
She graduated from Salem High School. They moved to Brownstown where they raised their children and attended the Brownstown Nazarene Church where she served in several positions until moving to Scottsburg. A dedicated wife and loving mother, she lived a life devoted to the Lord. She wanted everyone to know and enjoy the glory of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters Patty Allen and Judy Wagner. She is survived by her children, Teresa Baker, Tammy (Jerry) Edwards, Tim Baker and Tom (Rachel) Baker. She is also survived by her brother Herman (Connie) L. Miller Jr and sister Louise (Lonnie) Blevins, brother-in-law Paul Wagner and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with Sue’s family from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, Sunday June 27, 2021 at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana.
