Pauline Hackman, 95, passed away June 20, 2021 in Seymour. Her parents were Henry Krumme and Lydia (Harlow) Krumme, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Edgar Hackman June 27, 1948. Survivors include two sons Steven (Karen) Hackman, and Michael (Janet) Hackman. Grandchildren are Lisa (Steven) Summerlot, Aaron (Stephanie) Hackman, Brian (Brooke) Hackman, and Adam (Amy) Hackman. Also included are 14 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar, in 2012, her sister Ora (Krumme) Burbrink.

Mrs. Hackman was baptized and confirmed as a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She graduated from Immanuel Lutheran School in 1939 and from Shields High School in 1943. After graduation she was employed at Freeman Field as clerk-typist in Air Corps Supply for four years. After Freeman Field was deactivated she volunteered for Red Cross Blood Banks and Pink Lady at Schneck Memorial Hospital. Later she was employed as secretary in the Department of Special Education for seven years. In 1979 she was an Instructional Aide at Seymour-Jackson School for 13 years.

Pauline was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Immanuel Guild, Pine Ridge Homemakers Club, Lutheran Hour Ministries and assisted her husband in the Fair Industry.

Funeral services for Pauline Hackman will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Philip Bloch, and the Rev. James Rodriquez officiating.

Friends and family may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday, June 25, 2021, from 10-11am and the funeral will be at 11am at Immanuel Lutheran Church conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. Memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the donor’s choice.

The family of Pauline Hackman would like to express their heartfelt thanks to friends, family, and neighbors for flowers, cards, food, prayers, and kind words during our time of grief. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and pastors for their visits, prayers, and support.
