Marie Catherine (Schoenfelder) Wischmeier, 91, of Seymour, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021.

Marie was born in Seymour in 1929 to the late Karl and Frieda (Klosterman) Schoenfelder. She was a graduate of Seymour High School Class of 1948. Marie previously worked at G.C. Murphy Co. Fleetguard, Talon, managed the coin laundry in Seymour and stayed with the elderly. She previously attended Immanuel Lutheran Church and later Sauers Lutheran Church.

Marie is survived by her children, Cheryl (Jerry) Stark, William (Debra) Miller II, Robert Miller, and Patricia Rucker; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great- grandchild; sister Carolyn (Jon) Peterson; sister-in-law, Linda Schoenfelder, several stepchildren, step grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Wischmeier, her parents, siblings, Carl, Gilbert, Harold, John Schoenfelder and Alice Ridlen. She has one deceased grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 12:30 until 1:15pm.

Graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery at 1:30pm Wednesday, June 23.
