Gamma Phi chapter of Tri Kappa has announced first- and second-place charity euchre winners in individual groups for the 2020-21 season.

Because of COVID-19, many groups only played a partial year, so there is no city high group for this season.

The following are the high scores in each group based on the scores from the months that were played.

First-place winners in each group were Sue Carpenter and Margy Hayes, Ron Krumme and Marjorie Lambert and Norma Pollert and George Rieckers (tie), Barry and Jen Downing, Jeff and Kathy Hilton, Joyce Lucas and Karen Metz, Richard Darlage and Richard Rieckers, Kathy Rebber and Tammy Wright and Marlene Schuerman and George Rieckers.

Second-place winners were Carol Bobb and Brenda Oden, Kenny and Romy Perry, Norman and Karen Kerkhof, Rosemary Weir and Betty Noel, Marlene Schuerman and George Rieckers, Brenda Papin and Jeannie Johnson and Pat Klosterman and Paul Hoene.

The charity euchre program supports local scholarships, Riley Hospital for Children and the hospital’s cheer guild, local nursing homes, Hoosier Art Salon, the Adopt-a-Spot program and the state’s gifted and talented program. The monies raised also go to local charities and cultural and education programs as voted on by the chapter.
