Oktoberfest announces apparel logo contest

Seymour Oktoberfest Inc. has launched a 2021 apparel logo contest in conjunction with the Seymour Noon Lions Club, which sells the apparel that’s produced locally by Dicksons Inc.

To help artists creatively express themselves, the winner’s design will be on the apparel for the comeback year for the festival.

The winner will receive a $250 cash prize and recognition on the festival’s Facebook page and website.

To enter the contest, each participant should submit their original entry online at seymouroktoberfest.com/logo by noon July 1. Ages 13 and older are invited to participate. Those under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign his or her entry form.

Entries must contain appropriate themes expressing Bavarian or German culture and traditions and be creative and appropriate for public use. Entries must include the words "Seymour Oktoberfest" and potentially "2021" and should not contain more than five colors.

Judges will select the winner based on three categories: Theme, originality and presentation. The winner will be contacted by email no later than July 13.
