SEYMOUR

Linda Sue Weaver, age 69, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Columbus Transitional Care and Rehab in Columbus, Indiana. She was born on January 23, 1952 to the late Louis Weaver and the late Lorene Lunsford Weaver. Linda will forever be remembered as a caring and giving lady that loved volleyball, coloring, crafts and vacationing in Tennessee. She was a huge animal lover especially dogs. She also loved her grand and great grandchildren dearly.

Linda is survived by her son, Timothy Weaver of Uniontown, Indiana. One brother, Thomas Weaver and his fiancè Maria Maldonado of Uniontown, Indiana. Two sisters, Diana Coombs of Brownstown, Indiana and Kim Cowles and her husband Jamie of Seymour, Indiana. One brother-in-law, Robert York of Seymour, Indiana. One very special niece, Jennifer Walker and her husband Chris of Seymour, Indiana. Two grandchildren, Alesha Cotton and Haley Weaver. Three great grandchildren, Aryannah Cotton, Adalynn Cotton and Alayah Cotton. Numerous Nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Brenda York.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Visitation will resume on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM in the Woodlawn chapel with the Rev. Kelly Reed officiating. She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Indiana.
