The Seymour Community School Corp. board of education will conduct a public hearing on Superintendent Brandon Harpe’s contract at 6 p.m. today at the central administration office, 1638 S. Walnut St., Seymour.

The hearing is required by state law to discuss and receive any public opinions both in support of and against the proposed contract between the school board and Harpe.

Board President Art Juergens will provide details of the contract and then will allow board members and the public to speak about it.

The board then will vote on the contract at the May 11 meeting.
