Mr. Harry “Bob” Gallion Jr., 69, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, at home, with his family by his side.

Bob was born in 1951 to the late Harry R. “Bob” and Delores (Marsh) Gallion in Seymour, Indiana.

He married Joyce Eggeman, on December 3, 1994 in Seymour, Indiana and she survives.

Bob retired from Valeo-Sylvania in Seymour after 25 plus years of service.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, quail, and pheasant. Many will remember him because he raised and sold quail in the area for years. He was always prepared to be in the woods. He also enjoyed fishing for bass, panfish and catfish. He entered several bass tournaments and even won a few. Bob enjoyed being with Mother Nature.

He was an excellent cook, and a very gifted artist and he painted several paintings following Bob Ross’s demonstrations. Bob enjoyed playing a round of golf with his buddies.

Bob is survived by his wife Joyce, children, Nadine (Jake) Suhre, Regan (Aaron) Hendrix, and Rob (Amanda) Gallion; several grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Kirsten) Gallion, Janice (Leonard) Kreinop, Donna (Jerry) Reece and Candy (Mark) Sentz; brother and sisters-in-law, Larry (Deborah) Eggeman, Rita Eggeman, and Mary Jo Gallion, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry Lee Gallion, brother-in-law, Harold Eggeman, and father and mother law, Omer and Lillian Eggeman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 11 am at Voss and Sons Funeral Service with visitation one hour prior to service.

Family and friends may gather on Monday, May 3, 2021 Voss Chapel from 4-7 pm.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation services are to be provided by Voss and Sons Funeral Service and Crematory.

Burial will follow at a later date at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be written to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center or Ducks Unlimited (One Waterfowl Way, Memphis TN, 38120) in memory of Bob Gallion.

Masks are required as well as social distancing while in the building.
