First Responder Appreciation Day is set for noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at New Life Missionary Baptist Church, 709 W. Bridge St., Brownstown.

Everyone, including first responders, is invited to attend the free event.

Firetrucks, a helicopter, an ambulance and police cars will be there for the entire family to see.

There also will be live music, bounce houses and food, including hamburgers and hot dogs.
