SEYMOUR
Donald Charles Moore, 83 of Seymour, Indiana passed away on April 19, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 5, 1937 in Seymour to Donald Lewis and Goldie Mae Moore. He married Verna J. Snider on August 31, 1957 in Medora. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather who was dedicated to his family. Don was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed watching sports, being outside and sharing the Word of God with others. He retired from Pantasote in Seymour.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Timothy Coffelt and great-grandson, Landon Singer. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Verna, children, Richard (Beth Carmer) Moore, Carolyn Coffelt and Beth (Trever) Singer, sister, Donna (Bert) Imlay and his best friend and pet, Cooper. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.
Friends may visit with Don’s family from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1202 N. Ewing St., Seymour, Indiana 47274. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Daniel DeFriece officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour.
