Paul David Arnold, age 52, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the son of the late Cecil Arnold Sr. and the late Phyllis (Lewis) George. Paul was a master carpenter and the owner of Sunrise Roofing and Construction and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Seymour, Indiana. Paul will forever be remembered as a caring, loving compassionate man with a fun and goofy sense of humor. He was a passionate man that once he set his mind to it, he did it and did it with perfection. He loved learning and reading, fishing, storm chasing and cooking. Paul was famous for his “Smoky Texas T-Bone Steak Chili” which he won an award for in 2016 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church chili cookoff. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him and each life that he touched in his own special way.

Paul is survived by the love of his life, Amanda Kay (Clifton) Arnold of Seymour, Indiana, three daughters, Stephanie Arnold of Columbus, Indiana, Breanna Arnold of Seymour, Indiana and Natalie Arnold of Seymour, Indiana. Two sons, Gabe Arnold of Seymour, Indiana and Solomon Arnold of Seymour, Indiana. Three grandchildren, Alexis Claire, Aubrey Marchuk and Hollis Hunt.

Eight sisters, Patricia Arnold of Columbus, Indiana, Debbie Arnold of Columbus, Indiana, Belinda Arnold of San Antonio, Texas, Jenny Arnold of San Antonio, Texas, Dorothy Arnold, Cecelia Hawkins, Mary McClease and Jessica Johnson all of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Four brothers, Gerald Arnold of Seymour, Indiana, Cecil Arnold Jr. and his wife Joann of Milan, Indiana, Ronnie Arnold of Georgia and Stanley Arnold of Kentucky.

He is also survived by his faithful “therapy dog”, Lyla.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Visitation will resume from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church with services beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ralph Blomenberg officiating. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Indiana.
