WorkOne employment centers in the southeastern part of the state have a new virtual tool available to help improve communications between the offices and their clients.

The Virtual Client Engagement portal allows Hoosiers to connect with WorkOne centers, manage their interactions with the offices and track the progress of those engagements.

With the rollout of the portal, all meetings with WorkOne representatives will be virtual. The portal enables individuals to review their engagements, manage interactions with WorkOne staff and submit and receive documents to and from a WorkOne office.

“The development of this tool over the past several months will enable Hoosiers to connect and engage with WorkOne personnel and resources in a safe, virtual environment,” said Mike Barnes, chief workforce officer for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. “After an initial rollout in three of our 12 regions over the next two months, the tool will be available for all of our clients across the state.”

To access the portal, visit dwdvce.powerappsportals.us. Individuals must have an Access Indiana account to access the portal.

WorkOne centers in southeastern Indiana are located in the counties of Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio and Ripley. The counties are eight of 10 that comprise Region 9 in Indiana. The Indiana Department of Workforce Development divides the state into 12 operating regions.
