Beck’s Mill will be open for a special weekend of hiking from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 10 and 1 to 4 p.m. April 11.

Spring is a perfect time to see the wildflowers that are growing everywhere at the mill, which also will be open for tours for those not interested in hiking.

The public is invited to bring a picnic lunch. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 16 and under with a paid adult admission.

Beginning April 3, the mill will be open for tours by appointment. To make an appointment, call 812-883-5147. A 24-hour notice is being requested, and the tour will depend on if staffing is available.

The mill will be closed April 4 for Easter Sunday.
