William F. Staublin, 90, of Columbus, passed from this life at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Staublin was born December 13, 1930, in North Vernon, Indiana, the son of Martin and Adeline Ebbing Staublin.

He married Helen R. Kocher, she preceded him in death August 5, 2019.

William retired from Cosco in 2000 after 50 years of service.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour and a former member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Survivors include his children Nancy (Jim) Morgan of Glasgow, Kentucky, Father Dan Staublin of Seymour, Tony (Terrie) Staublin of Scipio, David Staublin of Elizabethtown, Jenny (Steve) O’Bryan of Mason, Ohio and Julie (Curt) Settle of Columbus; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson, Jason A. Brown, daughter-in-law, Catherine Staublin, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Due to COVID restrictions a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Father Dan Staublin officiating.

Burial will be at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
