Rita Ann (Pruitt) Guffey, 69, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Woodland Hills Care Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Rita was a homemaker and loved to sew, quilt and craft.

Rita was born in 1951 to the late Martin Pruitt and Jo Ann (Steele) Pruitt in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

On June 26, 1976, Rita married William Robert Guffey who survives.

Rita is also survived by her son William D. (Samantha) Guffey; brothers, Richard Pruitt and Bob Pruitt; and sister Sue Foy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 9am until time of service at 10:30am.

Funeral service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service at 10:30am Thursday, March 25, 2021.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials may be written to Jennings County Humane Society, Easterseals, Brown Corner Chapel, or Sun Valley Indian School, Sandhill Road, Holbrook, Arizona, 86025.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required as well as social distancing within the building. Cards and notes of condolence are most welcome.
