Trinity advertising for boys basketball coach

Trinity Lutheran is in the market for a boys basketball coach just a few weeks after winning the IHSAA West Washington Sectional and advancing to regional play.

Ryan Crase was an interim coach this season for the 10-12 Cougars, who started slowly due to numerous injuries but came on strong late in the season.

"Coach Crase was interim, and our plan all along has been to post the position for a permanent long-term head coach," said Trinity Athletic Director Ryan Cremeans. "Coach Crase was aware of this when he took the position before the season, and we stayed in constant positive communication throughout the season."

Cremeans added that Crase "is a candidate for the permanent position."

Trinity has begun advertising for applicants, and in part, it says, "ideally, we would like someone who can work at out school full time either as a teacher or administrator or other staff position, but this is not required."
