Indiana inmates make crosses for virus victims’ memorial

BRANCHVILLE, Ind. — Inmates at a southern Indiana prison have donated 40 crosses for use at a memorial to people who died last year due to the coronavirus.

Catholic Charities of Perry County received the crosses from the Branchville Correctional Facility, according to the Indiana Department of Correction.

The crosses were made and painted by inmates working for Indiana Correctional Industries.
