Popup Johnson and Johnson vaccine clinic coming to Vallonia

The Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Vallonia Elementary gymnasium, 2459 W. Commerce St., Vallonia.

Schneck Medical Center, the Jackson County Health Department and Brownstown Central Community School Corp. have partnered to offer 300 doses of the vaccine. Anyone who receives the Johnson and Johnson vaccine will not need a second dose.

Individuals must meet eligibility provided by the Indiana State Department of Health and have an appointment to attend.

Currently, Hoosiers age 50 and up, health care workers, first responders and educators can schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine.
