Timberjacks swamp Terre Haute

Guard Davion Johnson led the way with 31 points, but the Southern Indiana Timberjacks put nearly the entire team into double figures Friday night in a 144-93 romp over Terre Haute at the Medora High gym.

The explosive victory raised the Timberjacks’ record to 2-1 in the Hoosier Hardwood Basketball Association.

The Timberjacks had 73 points in the first half and kept up the pace in the second half.

Trenity Burdine was second on the scoring list with 23 points, but the Timberjacks spread the points around as they piled up.

Trevon Bentley contributed 17 points, Tommie McCune 16, and LaJuan Whitney 14. And they were supported by Markell Bradshaw with 14 points, Demetrius Murray with 11 and Chris Thomas with 10.

The Timberjacks next home game in Medora is Friday night at 7 p.m.
