Marilyn Teipen Harlow, 88, of Seymour, passed away March 9, 2021 following an automobile accident in Florida.

Born September 27, 1932 in Parke County, Rockville, IN was a daughter of the late David and Flora VanHuss. On May 12, 1950, she married George “Bill” Teipen who passed away March 23, 2002. On September 27, 2003, she married George Harlow until his passing on September 2, 2005.

Marilyn was a farm wife for many years cooking three meals a day. She also worked at the Crothersville Shoe Factory for many years and Osram Sylvania. She was a member of the DAR, the Emanuel Lutheran church in Dudleytown and Lake Wales Lutheran church in Lake Wales, Florida.

Survived by daughter Cheryl (Ron) Million, Franklin; son Eric Teipen, Frostproof, FL; daughter-in-law Janice Teipen, Seymour; one sister Phyllis Holbert of Sebring, Florida. Five grandchildren: Scott (Stephanie) Teipen, Crothersville; Christopher (April) Darlage, Crothersville; Sharon (Drew) Markel, Brownstown; Elizabeth Darlage, Indianapolis and Braden Teipen, Frostproof, FL. And seven great-grandchildren: Carson & Addison Darlage, Brody & Brailey Teipen, Isaiah, Kinsley & Kasen Markel.

She was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Teipen, and three sisters.

A memorial will be held at a later date at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dudleytown.
