Officers and investigators with the Seymour Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff’s Department conducted a joint narcotics blitz that led to four arrests Friday.

Officers targeted known areas in and around Seymour and Jackson County where drug activity was present, and the cooperation of both departments allowed officers to work together and share information regarding drug activity, according to a news release from Seymour Lt. C.J. Foster.

Natosha Streetman, 41, of Scottsburg was among those arrested. She faces two preliminary counts of dealing in methamphetamine, both Level 2 felonies; two counts of possession of methamphetamine, both Level 4 felonies; maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.

Hailey Martin, 25, and Raven Kerkhof, 19, also of Seymour, were both arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony

The fourth arrest involved Jordan Ackeret, 22, of Seymour who faces a preliminary charge of possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.

The sharing of information is a critical part of drug investigations, Foster said.

A total of 48 grams of methamphetamine were seized with an estimated street value of $5,000, Foster said.
