Paul W. Vice, 79, of Seymour, IN, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 25th, 2021. Paul was born Monday, April 14th, 1941, in Brown County, IN he is the son of Arnold O. Vice and Anna Vice who both preceded him in death. On February 21, 1969, in Seymour, IN he married Juanita F. (Johnson) Vice, who preceded him in death on April 26th, 2014. Paul was a union brick mason where he worked for Dunlap Masonry and retired from Repp & Mundt Inc. He was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft workers local 4, NRA, Indiana Bow Hunter’s Association, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, was an avid outdoorsman, was loved and respected by all who knew him. Paul loved spending time with his family. Survivors include, 4 children, Paul A. (Debbie) Vice of Seymour, IN, Kathy Mellencamp of Seymour, Sherrie Cathcart Acton of Seymour, Wayne (Rob Phillips) Vice of Seymour, IN, 4 stepchildren, Mike D. Cathcart of Retreat, IN, Diana Hill of Crothersville, IN, Patty Webster of Seymour, IN, Arthur “Butch” (Audi) Cathcart of Indianapolis, IN, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren, 3 step great great grandchildren, sister, Shirley Vice of Seymour, IN, son-in-law, Tom Allman. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Traci Allman, siblings, Mary Ann Waldkoetter, Charlie Vice, Arnold Vice, and Lillian Bloom.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville with entombment to follow at a later date at Crothersville Cemetery. The funeral will be live streamed on the funeral homes facebook page. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Monday, March 1st, 2021. Please follow the CDC’s recommendation and guidelines while attending the visitation and the funeral service. Face masks are required per state mandate.
