Seymour gymnasts record highest season score

The Seymour gymnastics team finished its regular season by posting its highest score of the season at Bloomington South Monday night.

South edged the Owls 101.1-99.6 for first place, and Edgewood was third with 95.05.

Paige Smith placed first in all-around with a score of 33.45, and she topped the owls in floor exercise with 9.15.

Grace Lewis was high scorer for the Owls in vault with an 8.85, Marlo Cornn was high scorer in beam with 8.25, and Lillie Cote was tops on beam with an 8.25.

The Owls will compete in the Columbus East Sectional Friday, starting at 7 p.m.
