Special education parents group to award scholarships

The Seymour Special Education Parents Advisory Council will be awarding two scholarships to 2021 Seymour High School graduates.

One scholarship will be awarded to a student with a disability who desires to continue his or her education at a college, university or vocational school.

Another scholarship will be awarded to a student who will be majoring in special education or a related field. A related field may include but is not limited to physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, etc.

Each scholarship will be $500. Applications are available from the Seymour High School counselors, and the deadline for filing is April 1.
