Brian Lee Hamilton, 55, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on January 27, 2021 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, with his parents by his side.

Brian was born in 1965 to Billy Joe Hamilton and Iva Alice (Lucas) Hamilton in Seymour and they both survive.

Brian graduated from Seymour High School class of 1986 and then went to work at Home Products International. Brian was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed working, fishing, camping, bowling, and was the wrestling team manager.

Brian met many challenges in life and with his courageous spirit and trust in the Lord he persevered and conquered and now is in the hands of Jesus. All who Knew Brian were blessed by his smile and determination to be a better person no matter what life places before you.

Along with his parents, Brian is also survived by his brothers Terry (Sandy) Hamilton and Gary Hamilton, and sister Tammy (Jerry) Hendershot. He is also survived by his nieces Stephannie (Paul) Field, Sommer (Kraig) Klosterman, Savannah (John) Carr, and nephew Dallas (Paige) Foster, great nieces Kelsa Sawyer, Hazel Field, Chesney Carr and Bailey Foster. Great nephews Eugene Field, Caleb Sawyer, Cory Sawyer, Blaine Wehmiller, Tatum Wehmiller, Branson Carr, Canon Carr, Marshall Foster, Killion Foster and Declan Foster.

Brian was preceded in death by a niece Leah Dawn Hamilton.

The family appreciates all the prayers and concern for them in this time of loss. Brian will be missed by many friends in the community. Cards and notes of condolence will be most welcome.

A walk-through viewing will be at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Sunday, January 31 from 1p.m. to 3p.m. and Monday after 12:00 p.m. until time of service.

Funeral service will be on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1p.m. Voss Chapel.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the funeral home as well as social distancing within the building. We kindly ask that there be no physical contact such as hugs or handshakes to protect staff and the family. Attendance is limited to 25 people at any given time.
