Marie Edna (Babbs) Roseberry, age 86, a native of Washington County, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed from this life on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Seymour Crossing. She was born on August 11, 1934 to the late Francis Marion Babbs and the late Marie Catherine (Cook) Babbs.

Marie was a member of the Crothersville Nazarene Church and the “Asphalt Angels” car club of Milton, KY. She loved gardening, flowers and birds. She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them. The family will forever treasure the memories of her chicken dressing, coleslaw and creamed peas. Marie was a straight shooter and spoke her mind. She will forever be remembered as a sweet and loving lady that beautiful inside and out.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Deborah Engle of Freetown, Indiana and one sister Patty Fish of Seymour, Indiana. Six grandchildren, Jennifer Bannister, Jeffrey Bannister, April Bannister, Charlie Bannister, Josh Roseberry and Kimberly Roseberry. Ten great grandchildren and nine great great- grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 49 years, Frank William Roseberry, two sons, Kenny Wayne Roseberry and Frankie David Roseberry and one brother, Charles William Babbs.

The Family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Visitation will resume on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 10:00AM until the time of services. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 1:00PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre with Pastor David Schill officiating. She will be laid to rest at Uniontown Cemetery.
