Mrs. Diana E. Beaty, 71 of Salem formerly of Seymour passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Baptist Health in Floyd, Indiana. She was born in Chattanooga, TN, to Robert George Wilson, Sr. and Christeen (Hardy) Wilson. She married Richard Beaty on October 4, 1970 and he preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Seymour High School and a member of Seymour New Life Assembly of God. Diana loved her family and enjoyed all her friends.

Diana is survived by her children; Tammy Knappenberger, Terri Tormoehlen husband Chris, Victoria Adams, Melissa Freeman, and Thomas Beaty; 13 grand and 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert ‘Bobby’ (Becky) Wilson, Jr., and Joseph (Lucinda) Wilson; sisters, Darlene Nowling, and Melvina (Dave) Bloom, Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, and brothers, James ‘Jimmy’ Wilson, Sr., and Ronnie W. Wilson; 1 great grandchild.

Family and friends may attend the viewing at Seymour New Life Assembly Church of God, 800 Brookhaven Drive, Seymour, Tuesday after 9 am until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Worship service will be Tuesday at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

The family appreciates all the prayers and concern for them in this time of loss. Diana will be missed by many friends in the community. Cards and notes of condolence will be most welcome.
