History center announces holiday hours


The Jackson County History Center’s genealogy library will be closed the next two Thursdays for the holidays.

The library on the center’s campus at 105 N. Sugar St., Brownstown, will be accessible from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. Those same hours will continue on Mondays, and the Thursday hours will resume Jan. 7.

Due to regulations concerning safety issues with the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone will practice social distancing, and appointments to schedule a time for research may be made by calling 812-358-2118.
