Donald Lee Divine, 71, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour after a short bout with pancreatic cancer.

Born May 28, 1949, in Frankfort, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Albert Divine. He married Rose Barnes on November 21, 1992, in North Vernon; she preceded him in death on December 23, 2014.

Donald retired in 2008 from Metaldyne in North Vernon, where he had worked as a machinist for ten years. He had previously worked for Pilot from 1996-1998 and for Country Chevrolet from 1994-1996. He enjoyed watching sports, drag racing, and Family Feud.

He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Donald) Griffin of Seymour and Andrea Divine of Boston, Massachusetts; son, Scott Divine of Seymour; stepchildren, Richard (Penny) Royse, Kenneth (Sherry) Royse, Rebecca (Jeff) Lucas, and Jeffery (Julie) Royse, all North Vernon; grandchildren, Brittany Divine, Jeremiah Griffin, and Abigail Griffin, all of Seymour, and Ezra Schlechner of Boston; multiple step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be held in the Vernon Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
