Sending well wishes to front line workers

First Baptist Church in Seymour recently started a new campaign for Christmas.

The congregation is now collecting letters of encouragement to be delivered to healthcare workers at Schneck Medical Center.

Pastor Mike Lyon said this campaign is to thank the healthcare workers and to let them know how much we appreciate them and all they do for the community.

"The letters don’t have to be written to a certain person, but they can be," he said. "This can be an activity for the whole family and kids can draw pictures or make cards if they want."

Over the next two weeks, letters will be accepted at the church office, 505 Community Drive between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Letters can also be emailed to [email protected] so they can be printed and delivered.

For information call the church office at 812-522-1909.
