Reins to Recovery fundraiser set for Saturday

0

Bring your family and friends to Reins to Recovery Inc. Therapeutic Riding Center for some holiday fun from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the facility, 10861 N. U.S. 31, Reddington.

Visit Santa and his four-legged friends. Feel free to take pictures, trot to the craft area to make a special gift to take home and gallop to the stall barn to meet the "Reins-deer."

Upon arrival at Reins to Recovery, wait inside your warm vehicle and an elf will greet you to check your family in. Your name and number will be taken, and then you will be informed when it is time to join the fun.

With COVID-19 in mind, attendees will be asked to sanitize and wear a mask. All stations will be set up allowing for social distancing.

Dress warm as the event will be in the nonheated indoor arena and stall barn.

This fundraiser is a freewill donation event and will support the center’s mission and the horses that make it all happen.

Reins to Recovery provides services for youth at risk and kids and adults who are victims of violence.

The nonprofit organization is in dire need right now for community fundraising as it wasn’t able to have the annual Mane Event, which is a silent auction fundraiser, due to COVID.
