Proceeds from window clings to benefit Indiana wildlife

People can make good things happen for Indiana wildlife this year by purchasing a window cling for their vehicle.

The purchase of the $10 window cling will send $19 to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources nongame wildlife fund thanks to a federal funds match and will give $2 to the Indiana Junior Duck Stamp program.

The nongame wildlife program supports nongame and endangered species conservation in Indiana and in the past has reintroduced bald eagles, peregrine falcons and river otters to the state.

The Junior Duck Stamp program is a conservation through art curriculum managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The program focuses on helping students learn about waterfowl and wetland conservation by drawing a native duck.

The design on the window cling is the winning 2019 Indiana Junior Duck Stamp artwork drawn by Larissa Weber. The cling is self-adhesive, repositionable and approximately 4-by-4.75 inches in size.

To purchase a window cling, email [email protected] or write the Muscatatuck Wildlife Society, 12987 E. U.S. 50, Seymour, IN 47274.

The society’s nature store at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge’s visitor center is temporarily closed, but when it reopens, the window clings also will be available for purchase there.
