ELLETTSVILLE

Leon G. McDougal Jr., of Ellettsville passed away Sunday November 29, 2020 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Leon was born June 5, 1945 in Seymour, IN in to the home of Leon G. and Pauline Harrison McDougal Sr. . Leon graduated from Seymour High School 1963 and with high distinction from Indiana University in 1984.

Leon met his wife Judy Walls Livingston at a Seymour basketball game in 1976 and they were married in 1978. Leon and Judy both love I.U. Sports and had season tickets. Leon was employed for over 40 years at Arvin Meritor in Columbus, IN.

Leon is survived by his Wife of 42 years Judy McDougal, his sons David Livingston (Dolly) of Franklin, IN, Don Livingston (Millie) of Bloomfield, IN and Dennis Livingston (Kim) of Muncie, IN 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Brothers Jeffrey McDougal (Doris) of Detroit, MI, Dr. Paul ‘Bo” McDougal (Tonya) of Fishers, Sister Judy West of Columbus, IN, Aunt Pat Hurd of Ohio and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Leon is preceded in death by his Parents, Brother Pete McDougal and a Sister Betty Franklin.

Visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville.
