Brownstown Central’s boys basketball team outscored host Salem 27-15 in the second period and rolled to a 72-49 win in the Braves’ season and Mid-Southern Conference opener Tuesday night.

Jack Benter topped the Braves with 25 points, Parker Hehman scored 11, Carter Waskom 9, Aidan Schroer 8, Brandon Reynolds 7, Carson Darlage 5, Sam Schepman 4, Eli Wischmeier 2, and Adam Stahl 1.

The Braves will host Seymour Friday night.
