Mrs. June Dawn Bode, 86 of Seymour, passed away Friday November 20, 2020 at the Seymour Crossing.

June was born in Seymour, Indiana on June 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Ralph and Florence (Kreinhagen) Pugh.

She was a member of the Church of God here in Seymour. June had worked 6 years with Cummins and then went and managed several residential apartments in Seymour for 17 years, where she retired. She was always straight forward with her thoughts and enjoyed sharing good times with her best friend Brenda Brown.

June is survived by her children: Steven Franklin, Dennis Franklin, Diana Sue Acree and Robert E. Bode, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Toni Elder and Bonnie Lazzell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Robert Henry Bode, brother: Billy Pugh and sister: Marjorie Nowling and infant sister Caroline Pugh.

Family and friends may visit at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Sunday after 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3:00. p.m. Memorial service will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, with Rev. Brien Stout, officiating.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the funeral home as well as social distancing within the building. We kindly ask that there be no physical contact such as hugs or handshakes to protect staff and the family. Attendance is limited to 50 people at any given time.

Family request memorial checks be written out to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
