Anna Biehle, 93, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:38 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Autumn Trace.

Funeral Services are private. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on October 7, 1927, in Morris, Indiana, she was the loving daughter of Harvey and Clara (Tekulve) Wissel. Anna was united in marriage to Frank Biehle on October 25, 1952 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Morris, Indiana. He survives.

Anna was a homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and flowers. She collected owls over the years. Anna was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, AARP, and Indiana Wagon Train and Outriders Association.

In addition to her husband, Frank Biehle of North Vernon, survivors include sons, Donald (Anita) Biehle of North Vernon, and Mark (Barbara) Biehle of North Vernon; daughters, Cynthia (Charles “Rick”) Speer of North Vernon, and Debra (Steve) Hackman of Brownstown; grandchildren, Atina (Dan) Rozhon, Chad (Erica) Speer, Angie (Bryan) Jaquemai, Kirstie (John) Tiernan, Brian (Erin) Biehle, Kevin (Karen) Biehle, Charla (Ryan) Cummings, Cheyenne (John) Wischmeier, Megan (Evan) Sporleder, Hannah (Chris) Whipple, Dustin (Josie) Hackman, and Sophia (Curt) Nieman; twenty one great grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Clara Wissel; son, Joseph Kevin Biehle; brothers, Nicholas, George, Vincent “Bud”, James, and Harvey Wissel; sisters, Helen Trabel, and Mary Huber.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Mary’s School Tuition Assistance Fund at JCCF, or Our Hospice of Jennings County.
