Sharon Cunningham Ratliff, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully on the evening of November 16, 2020 at Schneck Medical Center. She was 72.

Sharon entered this life on September 26, 1948 in Washington, PA. She was the oldest born to Kenneth Wayne and Sarah Jane (Ealy) Cunningham. Sharon was the oldest sister to Gary, Denise, and Karen.

She spent her childhood in Claysville PA, graduating from McGuffey High in 1966. She was part of the first Girls Basketball Team and a member of the National Honor Society. She later moved to Jackson County and married Earl Ratliff at the home of Earl’s parents in Vallonia on July 5, 1980.

Sharon was a faithful Christian, a devoted wife, loving mother, and Mam. She found her ministry in music. Sharon played the piano and organ for many churches, having played for the First Baptist Church, the Community Baptist Church, the Faith Baptist Church, and the Ratcliff Grove Christian Church of Freetown.

She was a big Pittsburg Steelers fan, a homemaker to her family, and loved studying genealogy.

Surviving to cherish her memories, her children: Deanna Ratliff and her husband Alvin of Campbellsburg, Kirk Baldwin of Vallonia, Michael Ratliff and his wife Michelle of Brownstown, step-sons Rick Ratliff and his wife Julie of Seymour, and Timothy Radcliffe of Indianapolis; a sister Karen Wheeler and her husband Kenny of Washington, PA; grandchildren: Dustin Ratliff and his wife Angel, Darin Ratliff, Kirstin Ratliff, Audrey Sodrel and her husband Brandon, Matthew Ratliff, Dylan Baldwin, Jameson Baldwin, Kiley Ratliff, Jenna Ratliff, Raegan Ratliff, Chance Ratliff, Shane Ratliff, and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three husbands, Robert K. Baldwin, Marion Neal Kelley, and Earl Ratliff, a brother Gary Cunningham, and a sister Denise Harsh.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Ratcliff Grove Christian Church of Freetown on Saturday November 21, 2020 at 2:30 with Pastor Kenny Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Home Old Regular Baptist Cemetery of Freetown.

Visitation will start at 1:30 pm until time of the service at Ratcliff Grove Christian Church on Saturday.
