Glenn Ray Turner, 69, of Austin, IN, passed on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at 1:00 AM at his home. Glenn was born on Sunday, August 5, 1951, to Roscoe Turner and LouVerney (Sebastian) Pearson. On October 10, 1985, in Austin, IN, Glenn married Kathy (Potts) Turner who preceded him in death on March 28, 2019. Glenn’s last job was serving as the Assistant Manager at Wal-Mart in Madison, prior to that, he worked at Scottsburg and Greensburg Wal-Mart too. He also worked at Stucker Fork Water Utility and owned and operated Select Coffee Service. Glenn is a member of Tampico Christian Church, Scott County Shrine Club, Masonic Scott Lodge #120, and VFW Post #1083. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, searching for arrowheads, and frog gigging. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Glen is survived by his son, John Turner of Seymour, IN, daughter and son-in-law, Ana-licia K. and Nathan Allen of Cleveland, OH, stepson, Christopher Arevalos, 3 grandchildren, Quinn and Noah Allen, and Adreyan Arevalos, and his mother, LouVerney Pearson of Seymour, IN. He was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Turner, and his twin sons, Donald and Bradley Turner. A Masonic service and funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, IN, cremation will follow service, and entombment of ashes will follow at a later date at Little York Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
